I purchased this scanner to scan 35 mm negatives and convert them to jpeg. The color conversion from negative to positive is almost flawless. It does take about 25 minutes to scan one strip of negatives at 2500 dpi–but if you are willing to take the time, the results are worth it. The software is limited: the dust removal works well, but there is no way to turn pictures without using another program. Combining this with Photoshop makes a virtually professional-grade photo processing studio. I wanted a scanner specifically for digitalizing old photos. After scouring the internet for reviews of different products I ordered this and couldn’t be happier! Aside from the high quality output (I haven’t seen any need to further enhance the photos, even though the software is included) I’m thoroughly impressed that I can just place 1-6 photos anywhere on the scanner and it scans them up as individual photos perfectly aligned, etc. I am undertaking a project to scan every photo, slide, negative etc. that we have amassed over the last thirty or so years. My wife has color slides from the 60′s, and we have a lot of negatives that we don’t even know if we have the pictures to any longer. I expect it to take a year to get everything scanned, and who knows how long after that to get it organized.
The software is really very easy to use. I have played around with the settings and came up with ones that are getting me good results. I have been scanning three pictures at a time, which in itself is very nice and a great time saver. I love how you don’t have to put stuff in the corner (origin) but just place anywhere on the scanner and it finds it.

My husband bought these boots for me and I wasn’t having much luck with boots so I was skeptical. However, they came in yesterday and they fit like a glove; they’re warm and so comfortable! Do yourself a favor this winter season and buy these boots. You won’t regret it! These boots are perfect for working outside on a cold day. Hasn’t been cold enough to really test them in freezing temps. They run big so plenty of room for another pair of socks if we need them. Got them at a great sale price and my teen daughter didn’t complain about the look so it was a great purchase. Love these boots…have had them on all after noon in house to see if they will feel good…and they do. I would buy them again. Well worth the money..comfortable, good looking,built well…love them. Last year I bought boots and could not get any on line to fit..these fit perfectly. I order 7B and that is what I wear. Thank you
These boots are superb! I particularly like the rubber around the bottom–I was originally thinking of getting the Sorel Tivoli boots, but they have leather on the toes that I would scratch up in no time. I use these for everything in the winter–hiking, walking the dogs, walking around the city, etc. They are extremely warm, I usually just wear a light weight pair of Smartwool socks. I am usually a size 11, but find that these are a little small. My toes touch the ends a little. If they made them I would order these in a 11.5, but I love these boots so much I’ll put up with the snugness. All in all a high quality, cute winter boot that I anticipate lasting at least a decade!

After a fairly significant amount of research we decided to invest in this Elliptical over many others and purchased it through Amazon. The delivery took place on the day indicated and Pilot Delivery was very good giving a two hour window but arriving 20 minutes early.

So, to initial impressions. First off, if your delivery man will take it to where you want it that is a good thing. The box is quite large and unwieldy and weighs nearly 160 pounds. I ended up unboxing and carrying all the bits to where I was setting up. Be VERY SURE to check ALL the Styrofoam for bits and pieces as its tightly packed. You will also need a box cutter or scissors to cut all the tape.

The assembly is actually not particularly difficult and took me around 2 hours on my own. The tools needed are included in the package and every bolt, washer and screw is neatly labeled and packaged. No additional tools were required for assembly and everything fit very well indeed with all bits that needed greasing already done so and protected by plastic Once assembled the amount of physical room required is a fair bit less than other Elliptical machines and runs very smoothly indeed. The resistance levels go high enough to provide a decent challenge for anyone looking to improve their fitness levels. There are a LOT of programs on offer and I have not scratched the surface of the options yet. There is an IMMENSE cup holder on the machine that will fit all but the largest of drinks and a handy place to pop your favorite music player. Below the Music player is a sort of hook that flummoxed me a little until I realized that it actually may double-up as a book rest. I will be trying my Kindle in it to see if it works.

Now, one problem has immediately jumped out. The plastic covers on the flywheel rub the outer casing every so slightly and this causes a very irritating, if not particularly loud, grinding noise. I will be calling Schwinn to ask advice and update when I know more.

I’ve had these boots for a while (will be 2 years this December). I love them. Very comfy. I wear a size 11 in sneakers and got a size 11 in these boots, and they fit perfectly. I have the chocolate boots and they still look like new almost 2 years later. I love the look of this kind of boot, but just can’t see myself paying $150+ for 1 pair of Uggs. With Bearpaw I can get 2-3 pairs for the price of 1 pair of uggs. These shoes are great, warm, comfy, and most definitely as good as the Uggs. The only problem for me is that they fit a size too small so i have to go a size up and then the calf area tends to be too big. still love these shoes…bought them, need to exchange for a bigger size and i haven’t done that yet.

The assembly instructions for the seat are incomplete, which someone else commented on. They are not clear at all how the parts go together. I need to try to track down how it is to be properly assembled. Surprised that Bowflex did not catch this when the instructions were being written.

The delivery, while good, was confusing as far as tracking. The delivery company picked up the Bowflex on a Monday. We got a notice on Friday that it had arrived at the delivery facility near us on that Friday. However, looking at the waybill online, it showed the date of arrival as the previous Wednesday. Very confusing. It was delivered the following Monday. I had them set the box in the garage, then my wife and I took it upstairs piece by piece for assembly.

This camera is intuitive in it’s layout and operation. I’m a guy, I operate on the premise, that, when all else fails, read the instructions. Well, this camers has so much going on, I finally did pull out the manual. Before I did that, I did some shooting around the house, both inside and out. Great results, I knew I had made a great choice. A few days later I took it out on trip shooting landscapes, which is what I shoot the most. The 15 to 85 mm zoom was exactly what I needed. I tried the auto modes, and although they do a good job, I preferred using the program mode. I used the landscape picture control. I had shot this area last year, but with this camera and lens, the color, the definition and overall look, was outstanding. When I looked at them on the computer, it looked like I was actually there. The way it cut through the atmospheric haze over the mountains in the background, was impressive. After that trip I started setting up the user controls until I had different setups for every possible scenario I might encounter. The combinations of user assigned functions makes this a great choice for advanced users. Of course, that’s probably one of the reasons that you will buy a camera of this quality.

I recieved this camera just a couple of days ago. Wow what a fantastic surprise! My two previous digital cameras were a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ10 which I purchased in 2009 for a bicycle tour. While the camera had a lot of good things going for it a couple of problems stuck out which I could not tolerate. 1st and foremost it was very poor in bad lighting and the flash did not compinsate. 2nd..it really needed to be held steady any movement created a blurry picture. Declining light only made the issue worse. My other digital is a Nikon Coolpix 4300 which I bought 6 or 7 years ago to handle an online website. I love that camera, great pictures. good in bad light, not much zoom capability but could deal with that. The big problem…It was designed with an odd memory card which is hard to get and did not hold as much as comparable cameras today. I still use this camera for my website.

Good luck with Nikon and poor luck with Lumix I decided to chance another Nikon. Wow again..quick focus, Holds a common SD card, great zoom capabilities, and best of all it opperates very well in poor light conditions, in fact I forced a poor light condition under my desk with no flash and worked beyond belief! Add to those good reviews the fact they have redesigned the zoom key and placed it on the left side on the lens (can you say 35mm like)long, long, long over due.
